
Just a reminder, the Montgomery edition of the Alabama .NET Code Camp takes place this Saturday, October 28th at Auburn University Montgomery (AUM) campus in the business building. If you have not registered, please do immediately using the link below. In addition to some great here-and-now topics, this code camp will feature the inaugural run of .NET university, a whole track of sessions and technical overviews on what's new in .NET 3.0. For an extra treat, we will have one of only seven, Microsoft Across America Trucks on-hand and filled with the latest technology for small and mid-size businesses. The code camp will also represent the kicking-off event for .NET university. The mission of .NET U is simple, to get you ready for .NET 3.0 (aka WinFx). It consist of four sessions: Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Workflow Foundation, and Windows CardSpace. If you are registered for the code camp and want to attend some or all of these sessions, no problem, these sessions are open to all code camp attendees. However, if you want to "graduate" .NET U and claim a certificate and .NET U t-shirt, you should register using the link below and attend all four sessions. To register with .NET U, you should first register for the code camp event (see link above). Not interested in .NET 3.0 yet? No worries, I can assure you we'll have more runs of .NET U in the coming months.
